Front Office Coordinator, January 2023 to March 2026 - Art Surgical, San Francisco, CA

• Coordinated patient process from start to finish, including:

  • New patient registration (creation of patient charts; processing of referrals, forms, identity and insurance verification, fee and co-pay payment)

  • Consultation (performing scheduling, processing forms)

  • Post-consult (giving instructions, processing letters)

  • Pre-surgery (giving pre- and post- op patient instructions, processing lab orders and imaging)

  • Post-surgery (taking vitals during clinic, routing patient questions and issues to clinical staff)

• Scheduling and coordination of all non-surgical patient office, phone, and Zoom appointments

• Answered main phone line for practice; also processed all e-mail, fax, secure document portal, and internal queries and records requests to/from patients, clinical staff, office staff, and external physicians

• Re-designed company's office forms for improved usability by both patients and staff

• Re-created scheduling forms of various surgery facilities, creating fillable PDFs to streamline process

• Performed regular computer and IT maintenance for the office
